When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training at 15 years old because I wanted to be the best fighter on the planet one day like the legends I would watch on TV.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Khabib Nurmagomedov would have to be my favourite fighter of all time mainly because we come from a similar part of the world and shares a strong faith. Islam Makachev as well is a great inspiration for me.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means I can carry out my goal of being the best fighter on the planet. It also means I can represent my country Afghanistan and make my people proud.

Beyond money and championships, what motivates you? Beyond money and championships I want to inspire people around. In particularly all my supporters in Afghanistan and the UK.

Favorite grappling technique: Heel hook

Favorite Striking technique: Uppercut
