When and why did you start training for fighting? My older brother invited me to train with him back in 2010. I fell in love with it and that was the end of it for me.
What ranks and titles have you held? Currently ranked No. 3 in California, Lights Out XF middleweight champion and LFA middleweight champion
Who is your favorite fighter and why? I’ve always been a fan of “GSP.”
Do you have any heroes? My hero is God.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Fighting in the UFC means the world to me. I sacrificed my entire life to pursue this dream of one day being the best and fighting the best. UFC has all of the best fighters in the world, and I can’t wait to put my skills to the test.
What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career and why? My loss to Joe Pyfer is the key fight. It made me change so many things, inside and outside the cage.
Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to inspire people that come from the streets of LA. To follow their dreams and never give up no matter what.
Beyond a championship or money, what motivates you? What motivates me a lot is the competition. Someone like me was never supposed to make it this far. I wanna see how far I can go in this sport.
What was your job before you started fighting? Business consultant

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: I"m currently single and just focused on being the best i can be in this sport, i have no kids. All my focus is on God and my career. I have one pet named loki. Hobbies are just relaxing and watching sports.
