What has been your toughest fight to date and why? Alberto Trujillo. He didn't fight nearly like we thought he would, he switched it up really well. I had never fought someone shorter than me too, so it was really difficult to land anything clean on him.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? Rodtang; his attitude towards fighting and striking leads to such an exciting style of fighting.
Personal Life / Background: Wife of two years, Michay Gurule, we met in middle school (pronounced Meeshay). One dog, one cat. Born and raised in South Denver in Sheridan, CO. Hobbies are hiking and archery.
Former D2 wrestler at Colorado School of Mines and Adams State University. Suffered severe knee injuries at regionals last two years of wrestling when ranked highly in the nation.
