When and why did you start training for fighting?  I have trained martial arts since age 7, and the transition to MMA was natural.

Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? I have many Judo titles: 7-time Brazilian National Champion, medal winner in Grand Slams, Grand Prix and World Cups, 2 time Pan-American Champion.

Any belts/ ranks in grappling disciplines? Black belt in Judo and Jiu-Jitsu

Any belts/ ranks in striking disciplines? Light Blue rank in Muay Thai

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? Every fight has its own details, but my first fight outside of Brazil was the toughest due to it being my first fight abroad, changing training styles and my environment.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? GSP, Cris Cyborg and Demian Maia because of what they represent - they are true martial artists.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Human Resources

What was your job before you started fighting? I have always been an athlete.

Personal Life / Background: I like to run, I like puzzles, and playing games in my free time with family and friends. When I’m back in my hometown, I love to go on touristy tours.
