Biggest difference in training for this fight? The biggest difference training for this fight compared to other fights is knowing that everything I have done in this career led up to this moment.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training 2017. It was after I recovered from a stabbing. I decided while in the hospital that I wanted to fight MMA and change my life around.

Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? I held 2 titles in my amateur career.

Any belts/ ranks in grappling disciplines? I am a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Marcelo Nunes

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? My toughest fight to date was a fight I had at 185, because of the weight and not hydrating properly.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Would have to be Ronny Markes, Carl Seumanutafa, Marcelo Nunes.

What was your job before you started fighting? Before I started fighting, I was working construction.

Personal Life / Background: I have a wife who I’ve been with for over 10 years, and two beautiful children - 1 boy and 1 girl.
