When and why did you start training for fighting? I started MMA at 22 years old. I loved fighting and wanted to succeed and make my parents and family live well.
What professional titles have you held? 3X Naiza FC Flyweight Champion
Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? 3x Kazakhstan Pankration Champion. Master of Sports in Hand-to-Hand Combat and Pankration.
What has been your toughest fight to date and why? The toughest fight was against Flavio Madruga, defending the belt for 5 rounds.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? My favorite fighter is my father, who works every day for us.
What was your job before you started fighting? I worked as an electrician and a cook.
Origin of nickname: There is a monument called Qan men Ter (Blood and Sweat) in my hometown Aktobe that honors our ancestors who achieved independence through blood and sweat. My name is dedicated to them.
Personal Life / Background: Family: Father, Mother, two brothers, wife, and two children.
What are your hobbies, activities or other interests when not training for a fight? I love horses, playing computer games with friends, and I enjoy the sauna.
