Summer Events Secured for Fla. and Nev.

The hottest summer in UFC history continues to grow with the announcement of two hard-hitting events in Florida and Nevada.

On June 27, the Octagon will land at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida for a UFC Fight Night event featuring a matchup of middleweight contenders Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida and South Florida transplant Yoel “Soldier of God” Romero. In the co-main event, Brazilian bomber Erick Silva returns against veteran Rick Story. Tickets, priced at $225, $175, $125, $95 and $75, go on sale this Monday, May 18, at 10am ET. The UFC Fight Club presale begins on Saturday at 10am ET and the UFC Newsletter presale kicks off on Sunday at 10am ET.

Plus, the Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale card originally scheduled for South Florida will now cap off International Fight Week in Las Vegas, with the event taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, July 12, the night after UFC 189 in the same venue. In the main event, Jake Ellenberger faces off against Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson in a bout moved from UFC 189, and also featured on the card is a battle of two fighters making the move to 170 pounds, as Jorge Masvidal squares off with Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira.
