February 8, Sydney, Australia- UFC Hall of Famer Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture is heading to Sydney, Australia to host the exclusive UFC 110 viewing party at the Acer Arena, the Ultimate Fighting Championship(R) organisation has announced.

 

The five-time UFC champion – fresh off his stunning victory over Mark Coleman at the weekend – will also take part in an exclusive Q & A session with fans attending the viewing party on Sunday, February 21.

 

With all 16,500 tickets to the UFC’s inaugural Australian event selling out within hours, the exclusive viewing party in the ballroom at the Acer Arena is the best way to experience UFC 110 in person. Fans will witness the entire 10-bout fight card as it happens on huge screens.

 

Tickets are priced at $50 and are available to buy now at http://premier.ticketek.com.au/. The admission price also includes an official UFC 110 programme and a special commemorative laminate exclusive to fans attending the viewing party.

 

“I’m looking forward to going to Australia,” said Couture. “The fans there are very knowledgeable and passionate about the sport and it is going to be great talking with these guys. The card is stacked, with some very exciting fights and I am going to be a very interested observer.”

 

The main event for UFC 110 sees Minotauro Nogueira and Cain Velasquez collide in a bout with significant implications for the heavyweight division.

 

The co-main event of UFC 110 is the long-awaited middleweight showdown between legendary former world champion Wanderlei Silva and top contender Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping.

 

Plus, former UFC Lightweight title challenger Joe ‘Daddy’ Stevenson takes on Australia’s very own George Sotiropoulos, light heavyweight Keith ‘The Dean of Mean’ Jardine fights rising star Ryan ‘Darth’ Bader, and teak-tough heavyweight ‘Big’ Ben Rothwell takes on another devastating striker in Croatian sensation Mirko CroCop.

 

Fans attending the viewing party will also get to watch exclusive live coverage of the un-televised preliminary bouts, topped by the first ever all-Aussie bout in UFC history.

 

In one of the most heated grudge matches of the year, Sydney light heavyweight Elvis ‘The King of Rock’n’Rumble’ Sinosic will collide with long-time Brisbane rival Chris ‘The Hammer’ Haseman.

 

Also appearing on the bumper undercard will be Stephan Bonnar, the self-styled ‘American Psycho’, and one of the original cast members of The Ultimate Fighter. The American fan-favourite looks to take out another leading light-heavyweight in ‘Polish Experiment’ Krzysztof Soszynski.

 

Meanwhile, welterweight brawlers Chris Lytle and Brian Foster draw battles lines, TUF star CB Dollaway locks horns with the returning Goran Reljic, and Sydney-based light heavyweight Jamie Ta Huna makes his official UFC debut against Igor Pokrajac.
