Two of the most exciting young featherweights in the world will square off at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 23, as former TUF LATAM winner Yair Rodriguez takes on Andre Fili in a UFC 197 bout.
UFC 197 is headlined by the light heavyweight championship rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones and the flyweight title fight pitting Demetrious Johnson against Henry Cejudo.
Unbeaten in his three UFC bouts thus far, Rodriguez’ wins over Leonardo Morales, Charles Rosa and Dan Hooker have marked the Mexico as a top prospect at 145 pounds. Sacramento’s Fili has won three of his five Octagon bouts, with his Performance of the Night knockout of Gabriel Benitez being his biggest yet.
