Biografía

STRENGTHS: For this fight I've been on the grind. A lot of sprints, jiu-jitsu, always wrestling and working my hands and throwin' long combinations. I expect to go three rounds hard, but if I clip him or sense I can put him away, damn it I will!

When and why did you start training for fighting? It’s the purest form of competing. There are no missed blocks, and if you want it, you’ve got to go get it. I’ve always had the attitude for it, and I like being in a grimy, gritty fight. I don’t like the dancing around, picking each other apart stuff. I like to get in there and be in the middle of a fight. You really find out who you are.

What ranks and titles have you held? Conquest of the Cage champion and several amateur titles.

Do you have any heroes? My father, and Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a dream come true. I’m fighting to get a contract to fight tougher guys. I believe I belong here.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No

What was your job before you started fighting? I was an electrician

Favorite grappling technique: I got a guillotine that I call the ex-wife because there’s no escape and it takes half your money.
