TRAINING: Twice a day for six weeks, emphasis on the sprawl and brawl

When and why did you start training for fighting? I’ve always been competitive my whole life. Whether it was a footrace or a video game I was going to beat you at it. I played the conventional team sports as a kid but I became frustrated with the team aspect. The fact that someone else could screw up and label me a loser did not sit well with me, so I gave those up in high school and started wrestling. My brother Cole and I would always watch fighting and were interested in it. I liked the one on one aspect of it so after wrestling was over I had my first fight.

What ranks and titles have you held? ISCF Southeastern regional featherweight champion

Do you have any heroes? None

What is your favorite technique? Gogoplata

What does it mean for you to fight in the WEC? A chance to fight top level competition and gain national exposure, as well as grow as a fighter.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I’m 20 and I’ve been through a little college. I’m interested in sports nutrition.

What was your job before you started fighting? High School
