Training: MMA every day
When and why did you start training for fighting? My Father is one of Australia’s most successful and recognised Jiu-Jitsu instructors and he has been teaching Jiu-Jitsu as a full-time occupation for around 35 years, so having done Jiu-Jitsu for the best part of my life, fighting seemed to make a logical lifestyle choice at the time.
What ranks and titles have you held? I have held both Australian and South Pacific Jiu-Jitsu Titles prior to entering into MMA in the mid 90s.
Do you have any heroes? My father is a safe call.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I consider the UFC to be the pinnacle event of our sport and it is the ultimate fighting experience for any true MMA fighter to be a part of.
What was your job before you started fighting? Martial Arts Instructor
